Arise Competition Team
Arise gives dancers the opportunity to grow as artists and performers through training and experiences beyond their regular classes. With those opportunities comes a greater commitment from both dancers and families.
Arise requires more time and a larger financial investment than regular dance classes. Families should plan for additional required classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, costumes, travel, and related expenses. Dancers are expected to attend consistently, practice outside of class, arrive prepared, meet deadlines, and contribute positively to their team.
Â
We do not expect every Arise dancer to pursue dance professionally. We do expect each dancer to take the opportunity seriously and be ready to put in the work that helps the whole team succeed. Before accepting a place on Arise, please consider whether the time, cost, and expectations are a good fit for your family this season.
Arise participates in one dance convention and three competitions each year. Additional performance and training opportunities may become available throughout the season.
Auditions are held in May, with an August audition opportunity for dancers who are new to the area. Message us for more information about the program, auditions, and the commitment involved.
